The following is Vincent van Gogh's "Terrace and Observation Deck at the Moulin de Blute-Fin, Montmartre," which he painted in 1887, now in the Art Institute of Chicago.

It shows the view of the observation deck, which was part of the Moulin de Blute-Fin windmill on Montmartre hill, part of Paris. A set of street lamps, an iron railing, and several silhouetted figures stand out against a dark backdrop, presenting a moment in Parisian urban life in the late 19th century.
